Fluence app for iPhone and iPad

Fluence allows the user to calculate dose rates for a selection of photon-emitting radionuclides in three source geometries. Dose rates for a point source incident on a slab shield may also be calculated.

Source geometries include:

Fluence also performs unit conversions for units relevant to radiation dosimetry.

Fluence is designed for students and professionals in the nuclear sciences.

Fluence has the ability to quickly change between sets of units (traditional and SI radiation units/metric and english units of distance). Simply tapping on the unit allows the user of Fluence to toggle between different sets of units.
